16 weeks to go till Nationals! I am finally starting to feel better today - after the second refill of antibiotics! With a week of being sick I only missed 2 weight training sessions and 3 cardio sessions, so hopefully it doesn't set things back too much.
Today is a beautiful sunny day in Swift Current and we are celebrating my husband Ryan's 34th brithday along with another friend of ours (Darc) on the golf course with about 20 other close friends. I am really looking forward to this, and will enjoy my cheat day to the fullest.
You should check out Ryan's progress pictures in the client gallery. He has 6 weeks to go and is looking great. I am very proud of him. |

GOOD NEWS! Flaman Fitness is going to sponsor me an ellptical trainer and an upright bike for 2007 Candadians Contest Prep! They are going to bring it to our house on Tuesday and set everything up for us. In exchange I will do some photo shoots for them when I am closer to my contest conditioning. This made my day! |

My 3 mos personal training client list is now full and I cannot take on any new clients. I have some space availabe for the independent exercise programs though, and am looking forward to getting some more progress pics posted of some of my clients. They are all doing so great, and I am very proud of them. |

I am SICK! I am not usually one to go to the doctor, in fact I have only been once since my 6 year old daughter was born, but today I had to go. I have bronchitis and am on some antibiotics and an inhaler. I have felt it coming on for about a week now, but haven't let it interefere with my training until today - felt it move into my lungs when I was on the treadmill - so I guess if it is going to affect my training, I better go see the doc! |

Today is my mom's birthday. I wasn't able to see her, but gave her a call. My girlfriend Kristen also had a baby boy today and I got to see them in the hospital today - soooo cute! |

I started dieting for the 2007 Canadian Nationals to be held August 18/07 in Edmonton, Alberta - 19 weeks to go! I have stayed a little bit leaner this year than last year's off season. I am excited to strip away the layers and see what is underneath! |

Charlene has decided to go again! Charlene Holden has taken one week off the diet and training and reflected about her last 20 weeks of contest preparation and her 1st place and overall victory at the Novice Competition and has decided to do Sask Provincials on June 16/07 in Prince Albert. My husband Ryan will also be competing and is looking amazing right now. Corey Nyhagen has decided to try to put on a bit more size this off season and compete at the 2008 provincials. |

Congratulations to Corey Nyhagen and Charlene Holden for winning their weight classes at the 2006 Sask Novice Bodybuilding Competition in Regina yesterday. Corey weighed in at 185.5 and competed as a light heavyweight and Charlene weighed in at 131 and competed in the women's open class. Ryan and I were the backstage managers, and all in all it was a great show and a good time had by all. |

Corey and Charlene have 14 days to go before their bodybuilding debut. They both look great and are right on track. It is so exciting to watch their cuts come in deeper and see the results of all their hard work - almost makes me excited to start dieting again! |

Happy Valentines Day! I spent Valentines day helping Corey Nyhagen and Charlene Holden with their posing. They are both coming along great and are right on track for competing at the Sask Novice Bodybuilding Competition in Regina on March 31/07. Stay tuned to the client gallery and watch how they transform their bodies over the next few weeks! |

Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. We spent Christmas Eve with my brother, wife and 2 nephews here in Swift Current. We thought we lost his dog (a boxer) and drove around in our dress clothes (because we were on our way to church) looking for her, only to find her locked in the bathroom downstairs 2 hours later! Christmas Day was exciting watching the kids open their presents from Santa and just relaxing with family. I made a turkey dinner with all the fixings and loved every minute of it! We spent Boxing day visiting grandparents in Regina and Creelman Sask, and entered a family fun curling bonspeil. We lost every game, but it was fun.
We rang in the New Year with our closest friends at a garage party last night. Today is our 13th wedding anniversary.and we met up with the same group of friends that we spent new years with this afternoon for family toboganning. Then we came back to our house where Ryan treated us to a "sea food extravaganza". It was delicious - swordfish, salmon, shrimp, basa, mahi mahi, clams, mussels - mmmmm! I'm not usually a sea food lover - but this was so good.
I must say that I enjoyed 10 days off of my off season diet and training program over the holidays. I am ready to start a new phase in my own training program tomorrow. I am very focused on competing in Edmonton on August 18, 2007 at the Canadian Nationals again, and hope to come in a bit fuller and tighter than last year.
I have been getting many e-mails for new training programs, and have a few spots left in January. I am very excited to be able to help people reach their fitness goals. It is very motivating for me, to see someone work their buns off and finally achieve the results that they have been waiting for.
Well, here is to 2007 - may you achieve the goals you set for yourself, and then some! |

Welcome to my sight, and a big thanks to Swift Current Online for developing it. I am very excited about sharing my training progress with you.
2006 was a great year for me, and I am looking forward to what 2007 has to offer. Training is going very well right now. I am enjoying an off season diet and training very hard in the gym (is there any other way to train!) I am going to do the Canadian National Bodybuilding Championships in Edmonton August 18, 2007.
You can also watch how my clients are changing their bodies and reaching their fitness goals. Be sure to check the Client Photo Gallery often.
I have some new training packages just in time for those New Years Resolutions and upcoming wedding season.
